I never use cake mixes, always scratch, but I received this as a gift. I used the chocolate mix and strong coffee instead of water-- people are still talking about that cake months later! I also used cream instead of sour cream to counteract the bitterness. Haven't tried the other two but would buy this just for chocolate cake again and again.
