I read the reviews, and was a bit concerned by the comments regarding the fragility, and durability of these Cake Keepers. I have 2 of them, and am ordering a third!
These are lovely, easy to use, keep your cakes ( or Meringue or Cream Pies ) very fresh , and are so much lighter than the glass cake keepers.
I do not plan on using the dishwasher to clean these, and will not allow sharp knives to be used upon the surface of the tray portion.
I am very impressed with the quality, and beauty of these Nordic Ware items. Nordic Ware has always provided fine quality, and beautiful baking objects.
There is also a rectangular cake keeper in this same Nordic Ware series. I highly recommend it, as it is perfect for Brownies, flat cakes, loaf cakes, cookies, etc.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! You MUST try at least one of these!
